The devices of the series FW3 frequency / analog - converters have been developed for proportional converting of low to middle frequencies into a norm signal. With this series frequencies from 1Hz up to 10kHz (15 measurement ranges adjustable) can be converted into analog signals from 0...10V resp. 0/4...20mA . The frequency / analog - converters are working according to the priciple of the pulse-width- measurement and therefore are providing a valid measurement signal after two signal periods only. Additional the FW3 is eqipped with an integrated limit switch. Therefore, these modules are particularly suitable for signal processing in flow meters.
